Tempered glass is glass that has an extra procedure done to it to make it 4 to 5 times stronger. The procedure involves heating the glass up, and then cooling it down rapidly. This process makes the glass stronger, and also changes the way the glass breaks. The glass shatters into small blocks that are much less likely to cause injury.

The industry standard specification requirements for heat treated or tempered glass are ASTM C1048.

Firescapes™ Reflective Panels is fully tempered glass that meets the requirements of the safety glazing standard CPSC 16 CFR 1201 or ANSI Z97.1, or both.

Reflective fireplace panels are for use in factory built wood burning fireplaces or masonry fireplaces, that have been converted for the use of VENTED Gas Logs.  DO NOT use these glass panels in a fireplace with intensions of burning wood or any other fuel type, other than Natural Gas or Liquid Propane.

DO NOT install these panels into a direct vent appliance.  These are only intended for decorative purposes.

No warranty is offered or implied.  Do not install where a flame is in direct contact with the panels.

We interact with glass every day — we look through it, drink from it, and it helps us see clearly.

But not all glass is the same, and our ability to modify glass and improve its qualities is what allows us to use glass in applications where it would have been a safety hazard.

It’s ability to withstand temperature fluctuations makes tempered glass suitable for many hearth applications.

The Firescapes™ panels are made of 1/4” tempered glass.

Firescapes™ decorative glass panels are exclusively for the use with vented Gas burning decorative appliances.
Such as Gas logs, fire glass, etc…

Turn those tired old gas log sets into something amazing! The brand NEW Firescapes™ decorative glass panels will transform any old gas log set into so much more.

The primary flame image is reflected twice, offering a viewing experience like no other.

This makes a great upgrade to any gas log set or decorative fire glass burner.
